1,6 MWp, ELA – GSK Vietnam Co., Ltd. – Hanoi Branch 1, Hanoi

A rooftop solar power system with a capacity of 1,6 MWp has been installed at GSK Vietnam Co., Ltd. – Hanoi Branch 1. The project officially began commercial operation in 2026. GSK Vietnam Co., Ltd. – Hanoi Branch 1 is the manufacturing branch of GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), a leading global pharmaceutical and healthcare company headquartered in the United Kingdom, producing and distributing pharmaceuticals, vaccines, and consumer healthcare products for the Vietnamese market. With a strong commitment to sustainable development, the company is actively deploying renewable energy solutions at its facility located at Lot No. 6, Phu Nghia Industrial Park, Phu Nghia Commune, Chuong My District, Hanoi. The system uses 2,780 high-efficiency Jinko 585 Wp solar panels, together with 10 Sungrow inverters, 125 kW each. With an optimized design, the system is expected to generate approximately 2,050,000 – 2,100,000 kWh of clean electricity per year, reducing emissions by more than 1,368 tons of CO2 per year and helping cut greenhouse gas emissions at the facility.
