Mr. Phong Pham Nam founded Vu Phong Energy Group in 2009 at the age of 26, transforming it from a pioneering solar startup into one of Vietnam’s leading renewable energy companies. Under his leadership, Vu Phong has gained recognition for its comprehensive expertise as an investor, developer, EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) contractor, O&M (Operations & Maintenance) provider, and asset manager for a wide range of renewable energy projects. The company is also at the forefront of delivering platforms and solutions that enable enterprises to reduce emissions and achieve carbon neutrality.
A respected thought leader, Mr. Phong is a frequent speaker at major conferences and events focused on energy, renewable energy, and sustainable development. He actively advises businesses and public agencies on Twin Transition (“Green and Digital”) strategies to meet emission reduction targets, with a focus on achieving Carbon Neutrality by 2030 and 2035.
In addition to his role at Vu Phong, Mr. Phong serves as Chairman of Construction Joint Stock Company 47 (HOSE: C47), a top-tier firm specializing in hydropower and irrigation construction. C47 has consistently ranked among the Top 500 largest private enterprises in Vietnam (VNR500) for many years.
Mr. Phong holds a Bachelor's degree in Automotive Engineering from Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, a Bachelor's in Quality Management from Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics, and an MBA in Business Administration and Marketing from Solvay Brussels School in Belgium.
