On November 16, 2024, TheLIGHT journey continued to bring light to underprivileged rural areas, providing solar power to 70 households in Phu Vinh, Phu Xuan, and Phu Son villages, Quang Phu commune, Krong No district, Dak Nong province. With the newly installed solar power systems, local residents, especially children, now have access to stable lighting for studying and daily activities, gradually improving their quality of life.
A Journey for a sustainable community
Previously, many households in Quang Phu relied on kerosene lamps or temporary lighting solutions at night, significantly affecting their daily lives and children’s education. Now, with the new solar power systems, local communities can access clean, safe, and sustainable energy.
As a long-term partner of TheLIGHT since 2019, Vu Phong Energy Group continues to sponsor solar panels for this project, contributing to a stable energy source for the community. This initiative is not only a humanitarian effort but also a testament to Vu Phong Energy Group’s strong commitment to promoting sustainable development and expanding access to renewable energy in disadvantaged areas.
Community collaboration – The power of impact
We sincerely thank all organizations and partners who contributed to the success of this initiative, especially JCI Da Lat, which has supported TheLIGHT for the past three years, and JCI Binh Thuan, a key partner in this project.
Each light turned on not only illuminates homes but also brings hope for a brighter future. With adequate lighting, children can study better, families can improve their livelihoods, and entire communities can progress toward a more modern and sustainable life.
TheLIGHT – A journey of love and light
Since 2016, TheLIGHT has continuously expanded its meaningful journey, bringing light to remote rural areas and transforming the lives of thousands of families. This is not just physical light but also the light of knowledge, opportunities, and hope.
With the ongoing accompany of Vu Phong Energy Group and other sponsors, we hope to expand clean energy projects further, contributing to a greener and more sustainable future for communities. Initiatives like TheLIGHT, alongside programs such as Green Journey and Digital Knowledge, are not just corporate social responsibility efforts—they are our pride in building a more sustainable Vietnam.
