In its journey to support Vietnam’s wood industry toward sustainable development, Vu Phong Energy Group has partnered with numerous reputable organizations to implement renewable energy projects. One notable project is at Nam Dinh Forest Products Joint Stock Company (NAFOCO) in Nam Dinh, where a rooftop solar system with a capacity of 1.13 MWp was installed, helping the company reduce electricity costs and lower greenhouse gas emissions, contributing to the environmental protection goals of the wood industry.
Another prominent project is the solar power system at Tay Ninh Wood Factory, which has a capacity of 1.17 MWp. This project not only provides stable power for production but also helps the factory cut over 1,000 tons of CO2 emissions annually. This is one of the concrete steps Vu Phong Energy Group has taken to help wood industry businesses achieve their Net Zero commitments.
