1 MWp, PPA – O&M Vinamilk, Binh Duong
The project type is PPA (Power Purchase Agreement), which means that Vinamilk only pays for the electricity generated by the solar system. Vu Phong Energy Group is responsible for designing, installing, operating, and maintaining the system for 20 years. The project was completed in 2020 and has a power of 1 MWp. The main equipment includes 2,210 high-efficiency solar panels Longi 450Wp, 12 SMA 75KW grid-tie inverters, and a high-quality auxiliary frame system and conductor with over 30 years of durability.
The project has been operating safely, steadily, and efficiently, demonstrating the benefits of solar power in the South and opening up opportunities for this potential market. According to the data from Vu Phong Energy Group, the project has generated more than 1,600 MWh of electricity in the first year, saving Vinamilk about 1.6 billion VND in electricity bills. The project has also reduced the CO2 emissions by 1,150 tons per year, contributing to the environmental protection and the national target of reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 9% by 2030.
