Vu Phong Energy Group Wins Best C&I Rooftop Award 2022

Winning a C&I rooftop solar award is a significant recognition of excellence in the renewable energy sector, and Vu Phong Energy Group has once again demonstrated its leadership by securing this top honor. At the prestigious C&I Energy South East Asia Leadership Awards 2022, the company was celebrated for its outstanding contributions to the commercial and industrial solar landscape. Vu Phong Energy Group was proudly recognized in the Best C&I Project Award: Rooftop (Industrial) category at the C&I Energy South East Asia Leadership Awards 2022. This marks the second consecutive major award for Vu Phong Energy Group, following the Best EPC Contractor in Vietnam 2022 award from TotalEnergies in early December.

Hosted by Solar Quarter – FirstVIEW, the C&I Energy South East Asia Leadership Awards 2022 is an event dedicated to acknowledging outstanding Commercial & Industrial Enterprises for their leadership in energy management, efficiency, and clean energy development throughout Southeast Asia.

The award-winning entry from Vu Phong Energy Group was the Vinamilk-Mega project, a large-scale solar power system installed on the roof of the Vietnam Dairy Factory. Serving as the EPC General Contractor, Vu Phong executed the project to the highest industry standards. The system has a capacity of 3.39 MWp and features 7,542 high-efficiency solar panels, 27 inverters of 110 kW each, and an auxiliary framework designed for a lifespan of over 30 years.

The clean energy produced by the solar power system directly supports the factory’s operations, enabling Vinamilk to reduce its environmental impact while optimizing resource and energy use in its manufacturing processes. As one of the key projects handed over by Vu Phong Energy Group in 2022, it is celebrated not only for its operational efficiency and quality but also for its aesthetic design, earning high praise from both the investor and the end-user, Vinamilk.

During the awards ceremony on December 16, 2022, Ms. Chu Thi Tu Anh, Deputy General Director of Vu Phong Energy Group, expressed her gratitude for the recognition. This accolade from the Solar Quarter Leadership Awards was Vu Phong Energy Group’s second major honor in December 2022. Earlier, on December 1, TotalEnergies had named Vu Phong Energy Group The 2022 Best EPC Contractor in Vietnam, presenting a Certificate of Merit for outstanding safety and performance achievements across all collaborative projects.
