The launch ceremony for the COVID-19 vaccination fund was live-streamed from the Central Government to all 63 provinces and cities across Vietnam, emphasizing its national significance. Distinguished attendees at the central location included Party and State leaders, members of the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, and representatives from the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 prevention, alongside leaders of various socio-political organizations, central agencies, and ministries. Locally, Party Committees, administrations, and Vietnam Fatherland Front leaders, along with other provincial and city departments, actively participated, showcasing a unified national response to the pandemic.
During this pivotal event, Mr. Pham Nam Phong, Chairman and General Director of Vu Phong Energy Group Joint Stock Company (specializing in Solar & Wind Power) in Binh Duong province, made a significant donation of VND 100 million on behalf of the company. In 2020, Vu Phong Energy Group proactively donated VND 150 million to the Relief Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in Binh Duong province, comprising VND 50 million in cash and VND 100 million in-kind specifically for Covid-19 epidemic prevention. Further demonstrating its commitment to social impact, the company’s “Vu Phong Energy Group donation Covid-19” efforts extended to providing 100 SolarV portable solar lights and 20 SolarV solar generators, valued at VND 110 million, to border soldiers in Quang Tri, Binh Phuoc, and Tay Ninh.
