In March 2023, Vu Phong Energy Group advanced its project portfolio by initiating a new solar power system project at Dalat Hasfarm in Da Lat, Lam Dong. This event was part of the prestigious High-Quality Vietnamese Products 2023 announcement program, where the robot showcased advanced solutions for solar energy maintenance.

Solar Power System Project at Dalat Hasfarm

The solar power system project at Dalat Hasfarm operates under a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) model, funded by Germany’s ecoligo Fund. Vu Phong Energy Group is responsible for the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contracting services, enabling Dalat Hasfarm to purchase and utilize green energy directly from the system. Phase 1 involves the development of a rooftop solar power system on a Dalat Hasfarm farm in Dalat City. Following the groundbreaking ceremony on March 15, 2023, Vu Phong Energy Group is expediting deployment to ensure swift operation and handover. This will allow Dalat Hasfarm to promptly integrate sustainable energy into its fresh flower production, marking a significant step towards greener operations and supporting the broader renewable energy transition.

Another significant highlight for Vu Phong Energy Group in March 2023 was its participation in the “green economy” exhibition, a key event within the High-Quality Vietnamese Products 2023 announcement program. Towards the end of March 2023, Vu Phong Energy Group, in collaboration with its associate company Power Engineering Consulting Joint Stock Company 3 (EVNPECC3), hosted a significant delegation. This included representatives from Australia’s energy sector, the Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade) Vietnam, and the Government of Western Australia, all convened at the PECC3 Head office. This gathering, hosted by the Ho Chi Minh City National Assembly Delegation, focused on discussing and providing feedback on the draft Resolution intended to replace Resolution 54/2017/QH14. The new draft aims to pilot specific mechanisms and policies for the unique development of Ho Chi Minh City, particularly concerning its energy future.
