Vu Phong Energy Group implemented the 2,04 MWp grid-tie solar power project on the roof of DaLat Worsted Spinning Factory – DWS, one of the major firms in the Phat Chi Da Lat Industrial Cluster and the first worsted yarn spinning mill in Vietnam.
Using renewable energy helps DWS reduce its carbon footprint in production, pushing it toward “green” manufacturing and sustainable development. This is significant since DWS is a component of the textile industry’s global supply chain. Solar Power Installation Project 2.04 MWp by Vu Phong Energy Group

Project Overview
The project was implemented in 2022, under the PPA (Power Purchase Agreement) model, which means that Vu Phong Energy Group invested in the solar power system and sold the electricity generated to DWS at a preferential price. The project aimed to provide clean and stable electricity for the factory, as well as to reduce its dependence on the national grid and its carbon footprint.
The project consisted of 3456 high-efficiency solar panels Canadian 590Wp, 16 SMA 110KW grid-tie inverters, and a high-quality auxiliary frame system and conductor with over 30 years of durability. The total capacity of the system was 2.04 MWp, which could produce about 3.2 million kWh of electricity per year, equivalent to saving 1,000 tons of coal and reducing 2,700 tons of CO2 emissions annually. The project was completed within 3 months, with the highest standards of quality and safety.
