Vu Phong Energy Group Powers Manufacturing Businesses in February 2023

Solar power for manufacturing is becoming a critical component of sustainable industrial operations, enabling businesses to reduce their carbon footprint while achieving energy independence. In early 2023, following the Lunar New Year, Vu Phong Energy Group reaffirmed its commitment to this green transition by resuming the installation of large-scale solar power systems. Our engineers are actively partnering with leading manufacturing enterprises, helping them integrate clean energy solutions that align with long-term sustainable development goals. These initiatives demonstrate our expertise in deploying advanced renewable energy projects that deliver both environmental and economic benefits, reinforcing our position as a trusted leader in Vietnam’s energy sector.

In February 2023, Vu Phong Energy Group’s engineers continued to advance the “greening” journey for manufacturing businesses across Vietnam, deploying sophisticated solar power systems designed for sustainable development. These efforts underscore our role in the nation’s energy transition.

Key Projects Driving the Industrial Green Transition

Among the highlight projects currently underway is a 2.23 MWp solar power system on the factory roof of Kem Nghia, located in Tan Phu Trung Industrial Park, Cu Chi, Ho Chi Minh City. This installation serves Kem Nghia’s third and largest factory, which spans five hectares. The project is a prime example of the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) cooperation model, a specialized solar power investment for businesses. In this partnership, the German Investment Fund ecoligo serves as the investor, Vu Phong Energy Group provides comprehensive services as the EPC General Contractor, and Nghia Sai Gon Nippers Corporation benefits from the clean electricity generated.

In addition to the Kem Nghia solar project Vietnam, Vu Phong Energy Group has also neared completion on several other major installations. These include a 1 MWp system at the Nippon Seiki Vietnam factory in Hanoi and a 1.22 MWp system for a high-tech packaging production facility in Binh Duong, which belongs to a world-leading Swedish food processing and packaging solutions company. Furthermore, we have finalized the last in a series of installations for Hwaseung Enterprise factories in Vietnam, bringing the total capacity of that project to over 12.5 MWp.
