Dalat Hasfarm Embraces Green Production with Rooftop Solar Power System
Vu Phong Energy Group is currently developing an advanced solar power system at Dalat Hasfarm’s fresh flower farm in Da Lat City. This pioneering project is structured under the PPA (Power Purchase Agreement) model, with investment from ecoligo Fund (Germany). Vu Phong Energy Group acts as both the developer and the EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) service provider, showcasing its comprehensive expertise. Following the successful project kick-off in March 2023, Vu Phong Energy Group is accelerating deployment to ensure swift operation and handover of the system. This initiative will enable Dalat Hasfarm to transition to rooftop solar power systems, supporting their commitment to green production for fresh flower cultivation.
Vu Phong Energy Group Promotes Clean Energy Development at Conferences and Community Initiatives
In April 2023, the Board of Directors of Vu Phong Energy Group actively participated and shared valuable insights at several significant conferences and seminars focused on clean energy and sustainable development. A notable event was the Meeting on “Building and Developing a Green Economy in Ho Chi Minh City,” organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Institute for Development Studies in collaboration with the Business Studies & Assistance Center on April 18. Mr. Phong Nam, Chairman of Vu Phong Energy Group’s BOD, was an invited speaker, where he elaborated on the benefits of developing and utilizing clean and renewable energy sources. He particularly emphasized the critical role of rooftop solar power as an essential solution for fostering a green economy in Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC).

Another impactful endeavor by Vu Phong Energy Group in April 2023 involved supporting the implementation of 8 independent rooftop solar power systems for households in Pa Mi hamlet, Na Lia commune, Huu Kien commune – a particularly challenging region in Chi Lang, Lang Son province. This meaningful community project, carried out by Green Innovation Joint Stock Company (GREEN IN), provides residents with essential electricity for basic daily needs such as lighting, television, electric fans, and mobile device charging. During the handover, Vu Phong Energy Group’s engineers provided thorough instructions on effective system usage and maintenance to ensure durability and longevity of these vital solar power systems.
Prioritizing Safety Through All Project Development and Operations
Towards the end of April 2023, Vu Phong Energy Group actively participated in various initiatives for World Day for Safety 2023. These included a site visit to a benchmark HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) project – the 3.39 MWp solar power project at the Vinamilk-Mega factory – and a workshop focused on managing technical risks. World Day for Safety is an annual series of events organized by TotalEnergies, involving their employees and contractor partners. The solar power project at the Vinamilk-Mega factory, where Vu Phong Energy Group served as the EPC general contractor and provided Operation & Maintenance (O&M) services, was highlighted as a model for adhering to stringent HSE standards.
