Engagement with Iron and Steel Industry under the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) – October 2023

In light of the European Union’s official transition into the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) phase, Vu Phong Energy Group is actively engaging with the iron and steel industry to develop and utilize clean energy through the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA). Using renewable energy, such as solar power, enables companies to reduce indirect emissions from electricity consumption and lower their overall emissions in the manufacturing process. Many businesses, including industry leaders in Vietnam such as Vinamilk, Duy Tan Plastic, Kem Nghia, An Tien Industries (under An Phat Holdings)… have chosen this model.

In addition to providing Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) cooperation solutions, Vu Phong Energy Group also provides EPC general contractor services, and professional Operation and Maintenance (O&M) services.
