On September 15, at Tan Phu Trung Industrial Park, Cu Chi, Ho Chi Minh City, the handover ceremony of a 2.23 MWp rooftop solar power system of the factory of Kem Nghia (Nghia Nippers Corporation) took place. The ceremony was attended by Mr. Tu, Tran Minh – Deputy General Director of Kem Nghia; Mr. Thuong, Duong Van – Head of Southeast Asia of ecoligo investment fund; Mr. Tri, Nguyen Quang – CEO of Vu Phong Energy Group ; Mr. An, Pham Dang – Deputy General Director of Vu Phong Energy Group and many members of the Board of Directors of 3 units.
Overview of the solar power system at Kem Nghia factory
The rooftop solar power system at Kem Nghia factory was developed under a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) cooperation, with ecoligo International Investment Fund (Germany) as the investor, and Vu Phong Energy Group providing Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) as well as Operation and Maintenance (O&M) services. The system has a capacity of 2.23 MWp and uses 3,720 high-performance Canadian 600Wp solar panels, 16 110kW inverters from SMA, and high-quality support frames and cables designed to last over 30 years. With a capacity of 2.23 MWp, the system can generate over 3,200 MWh of solar electricity annually, helping reduce more than 2,300 tons of CO2 emissions per year, equivalent to more than 38,800 trees seedlings grown for 10 years.
